Pro Green

So the my sister and myself took the mother to see her favourite musician, I'm not even joking; she is one of Professor Green's biggest fans.
It was such a good night! A part from what seemed like hours before Pro Green stepped on stage (very impatient), his performance was outstanding. We even had standing tickets just so that the mother could experience it fully!

Relating to the Alice in Wonderland theme, our aim is to have each guest feel like they've gone for an imaginative adventure just like Alice. Where links to childhood is made, through the games that can be in the package. It's amazing how adults really do love games! We all do don't we!

So my girl Kimberley Morgan has opened up her boutique, 'Queeneys' on Brentwood High street. It's filled with beautiful garments and accessories. Kim thinks its really important to cater for all and not just for the stereotypical tiny customer.

We supplied Kimberley with bespoke cupcakes especially for the occasion. An important attendee was her cousin, Rylan Clark whom I had heard lots about but this was our first meeting.

It was a great day (and night for that matter), and to see the smile on Kim's face knowing her achievements had gone far. -Note the reference to my previous post on small people making small differences and cake making you smile and all that jazz.

So that's myself on the right, the Queen herself in the middle and the beautiful Danika on the left who customises and embellishes bikikis (sold in the shop).

 

 

 

 

 

 

So I got to go on a cake course! No, not eating cake but decorating cakes. I did eat some cake, I can't lie to you about that!

The tutors there were so friendly and truly inspiring! Each in their own way.

 

 

 

Lester Magoogan is one of the most inspiring artists I have ever met. The way humour is portrayed in his work is inspiring. Not many pieces of art you can walk past, catch a glimpse which makes you want to look more, and then literally laugh because Lester is portraying those feelings. For example his version of a Scottish person. Then again, other work from Lester perceive a lot of serious emotion like his version of friends. Lester showcases his work for the Down's Syndrome Association. Please, if you get a chance check them out.

Our cakes for an event held in the OXO Tower in London.

Why?

With A Cherry on The Top was created by my mother in fact! Lorraine Jeffery; she's been baking for many years and has always made cupcakes and cake pops for friends and family etc. And so as we've all got older and we're gradually going our separate ways I think good old Lozza thought it would be a great idea to fill her days up with baking professionally and trading with customers rather than having three completely diverse offspring demanding requests of her.

So where do I come in?

I leave the baking entirely up to the woman who knows best. I do help decorate and I design some of the big cakes. But my passion is shown though creating brand awareness for the company, getting our cupcakes at events and I am the one who converses with everyone. If you've ever ordered a cake or cupcake or emailed us with anything, majority of the time it is myself you have been communicating with.

 

With a Cherry on the Top

Ever heard of the term; 'Pretty please... With a cherry on the top'? Of course you have. We was all young once begging our siblings for some of their sweets. Because theirs is always better than yours right?
With A Cherry On The Top is now the brand name of the company I am currently working for. I have been for the past four months. It's a brand new cupcake based company but there are many other routes it breaking out into. For example; the retro catering van (I'll do a whole post dedicated to the van ASAP). Here's a sneak peak of it (Ssh don't show anyone else)...

Not to mention the tea rooms based in West Horndon, Essex.

I really aim to create a blog different to other cupcake blogs, where the focus is on how to decorate a cupcake for instance my focus is going to be on everything! I want to inspire others to find something they love and share it with the rest of the world. If one small person, makes one small difference to then encourage another small person to make a small difference and so on (you can see what I'm trying to get at) then all those small differences will prove that those small people make something big, and that there is nothing small about this chain of fantasticness and these positive achievements all show a certain conquer against all those people who do not believe.

What I'm trying to say really; is if I gave you a small cupcake (a small person to a small person), would you take it, and smile?
